Who is responsible for your data
Kourosh London Ltd is the controller of the personal data you give through this website. Registered in England and Wales, company number 13251893. VAT number GB 392 6803 69. Registered office and shop: 270 North End Road, London SW6 1NJ. Phone 020 3770 9344 or email [email protected].
What we collect
When you send an order: your name, phone number, email address, delivery address and postcode (for delivery), your order, how you want to be contacted and any note you add. When you use the chat assistant: the messages you type. Please do not type sensitive details, such as health or allergy information, into the chat. If you contact us on WhatsApp or by phone: your number and what you tell us (WhatsApp’s own privacy policy also applies there). For security: your IP address, used briefly to stop spam and abuse.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
To deal with your order, contact you about it and arrange payment, collection or delivery (steps you asked for before a contract, and performing the contract). To answer your questions in the chat (our legitimate interest in helping customers). To keep the website safe from spam and fraud (our legitimate interest). To keep the business and tax records the law requires (legal obligation). We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone.
What you need to give us
To send an order you need to give your name, phone number and email address, and your address if you want delivery. Without them we cannot deal with your order. Everything else is optional.
Who handles it for us
Our website provider SAM Digital Marketing Ltd and its service providers Cloudflare (hosting and security checks) and Resend (sending order emails). Orders arrive in our Google email account. If you use the chat assistant, your messages may be passed to the outside service that powers it, only to answer you. If you choose delivery, we give the courier company your name, address and phone number so it can deliver your order. Some providers may handle data outside the UK, protected by UK-approved safeguards.
How long we keep it
Order emails: as long as we need them to deal with your order, then as business and VAT records for as long as tax law requires (normally 6 years). Chat messages: we do not keep them. IP addresses used against spam and abuse: up to 15 minutes. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Cookies and storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your basket and the items you save are kept in your own browser because you asked for them. The products you looked at recently and your last order are also kept in your browser, so you can find them again; to turn that off, use “Clear and stop remembering” under Recently viewed or Order again, or clear your browser data. Nothing stored in your browser is sent to us until you send an order. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the website.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to limit how we use it, object to how we use it, or ask for your data in a format you can move to someone else. Contact us using the details above.
Complaints about your data
If you are unhappy with how we have used your personal data, please tell us first. Phone 020 3770 9344 or email [email protected]. We will confirm that we have received your complaint within 30 days, look into it, and tell you what we found and what we have done without undue delay. If you are still unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
