How ordering works

Sending an order through this website is a request to buy. It is not yet a contract. We check what is available and contact you to confirm the items, the total and any delivery charge. The contract is made when we confirm your order and you pay.

Prices

Prices are in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where it applies. The price you pay is the total we confirm with you before you pay. If a price on the website is wrong, we will tell you before you pay and you can cancel.

Payment

You pay by bank transfer to the account details we send you after confirming your order. Only pay into the account we send you. If anyone asks you to pay into a different account, call us first. We prepare your order once your payment arrives.

Availability and substitutions

Some products may not be available. We will tell you when we contact you, and we only swap a product for another one if you agree.

Collection and delivery

You can collect your order from the shop during opening hours. We do not deliver ourselves: deliveries are made by outside courier companies, so the delivery charge depends on your address and the courier’s price at the time. When we confirm your order, we check the price and tell you the delivery charge before you pay. If you do not want to pay it, you can collect from the shop instead or cancel at no cost. The delivery day and time are agreed with you then.

Food information and allergies

Ingredients and allergen information are on each product’s packaging. Before you pay, we will give you the full ingredients and allergen information for any product, free of charge: ask by phone or WhatsApp, or when we contact you to confirm your order. Packaging may differ from the photo on the website, so do not rely on the photo alone.

Your right to cancel

You can cancel at no cost at any time before you pay. After you pay, you can cancel within 14 days of the day you receive your goods, without giving a reason, except for the goods listed below. To cancel, tell us clearly before the 14 days end, by email, phone or WhatsApp. You can use the cancellation form at the end of these terms, but you do not have to.

Goods you cannot return if you change your mind

Fresh, chilled and frozen food, bread and bakery products, and other goods that go off quickly. Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once you have opened them, such as opened food packs.

Returning goods and your refund

Return the goods to us unopened, without delay and within 14 days of telling us that you are cancelling. You can bring them back to the shop, or send them to us at your own cost. We refund the price you paid and the delivery charge you paid within 14 days of getting the goods back (or of you showing us that you have sent them), by bank transfer to the account you paid from.

Faulty goods

If something is faulty, damaged or not as described, contact us and we will put it right as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires, including the cost of returning it. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring legal proceedings in your local courts.
